Faculty

Dr. Qin Lin is the Director of AIR Lab. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) in 2019. He is an Assistant Professor jointly appointed by the Department of Engineering Technology and the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Houston. From 2019 to 2021, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Robotics Institute of Carnegie Mellon University. His research interests span robotics, machine learning, control, and formal verification. He also serves as an Associate Editor for the IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS), IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology (TVT), and IEEE Robotics and Automation Letters (RA-L).
